How can I purchase lessons?

Silvia Aguilar Updated by Silvia Aguilar

We try to make purchasing lessons as easy as possible. After purchasing, you'll instantly be able to start scheduling lessons!

No monthly subscriptions. While many companies force you into an expensive monthly subscription, and we would probably make more money if we did, our mission is based around creating a great, accessible learning experience for you and a great working experience for our teachers. So, with us you purchase lessons and then can use them anytime in the next year!

To purchase lessons

  1. In your account, click on Purchase - Purchase Lessons
  2. Select the language and package you want
  3. You can then use a credit card, debit card, or PayPal account to make your purchase

Security

While we consider ourselves pretty good software developers, we leave the security up to the world experts. We do not store any of your payment information, at all. All payments are processed directly through our payment process, PayPal, even when you use a credit card.

What if my payment isn't being accepted?

Since we don't handle payments ourselves in any way, we can't know why your payment isn't processing. We'll need to contact PayPal directly to figure this out. Here are some common reasons payments are declined:

  • You input something simple, like your zip code, incorrectly
  • Insufficient funds (this is only applicable if you're using a PayPal account)
  • PayPal sometimes blocks the purchase, for security reasons. Especially if you rarely use the payment method you're attempting to use, or if you live outside of the United States

We can contact PayPal on your behalf, but in general they don't allow us to do much. They ask, for security, you contact them directly. Please do not send us any payment information, like card numbers. Never email that kind of information! Yes, we're trustworthy folks, but it's still not a secure thing to do.
