What's a good age to start learning a new language?

John Aitchison Updated by John Aitchison

As young as possible! Yes, your student should start learning a second language at as young of an age as possible. A plethora of research shows this is a good idea.

We teach students as young as age 3. If your student is younger than that, we may not be a good fit quite yet. But don't let that stop you from finding a great language instructor!

How did we do?

Can we take lessons together as a family?

Can you help my child with a class they're already taking?
