Unfortunately, sometimes a teacher does miss a lesson. All of our teachers have a 95% attendance rate, but illnesses, family emergencies, and electricity or internet problems do sometimes occur. When that happens, there's no need to contact us; as soon as your teacher is able to get online, they'll refund your lesson.

In a nutshell

There are two main ways you can ensure you were refunded:

1.) You will receive an automated email noting that you were refunded

2.) On the My Calendar page of your account, the lesson will show "Refunded"

Let's take a detailed look at how to review your My Calendar page. First, in the navigation bar at the top of any page, click the Schedule tab and you'll find the link to the My Calendar page:

Once you're there, near the top of the page select the "View Past Lessons" option:

Finally, scroll down to find the lesson that your teacher missed. It will look something like this, indicating that the lesson was refunded (note this is just an example, sorry Luz!):
