Unfortunately, sometimes a teacher does miss a lesson. All of our teachers have a 95% attendance rate, but illnesses, family emergencies, and electricity or internet problems do sometimes occur. When that happens, there's no need to contact us; as soon as your teacher is able to get online, they'll refund your lesson.
In a nutshell
There are two main ways you can ensure you were refunded:
1.) You will receive an automated email noting that you were refunded
2.) On the My Schedule page of your account, the lesson will show "Refunded"

Let's take a detailed look at how to review your My Schedule page. Once you're on this page (remember that it's in the "1-on-1 Lessons" section) ensure you have "View Past Lessons" selected:
Then, scroll down to find the lesson that your teacher missed. It will look something like this, indicating that the lesson was refunded (note this is just an example, sorry Luz!):
